This project is a 2D side-view game developed in Unity, where I gradually integrated elements of juiciness (animations, visual effects, and feedback) to enhance the player experience. I used Unity Shader Graph to create visual effects, worked with the Render Pipeline (URP) to optimize graphics, and implemented particle systems to add dynamism. To manage project versions, I used GIT, which allowed me to track my changes and maintain an organized workflow. This project was an assignment to be completed in 20 hours, teaching me to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under time constraints. I developed features such as a save system, checkpoints, and procedurally generated moving obstacles. Through this project, I deepened my skills in game feel and optimization, while understanding the importance of polish in creating a memorable gaming experience.
